This is SO true! We as educators like to talk and show so much that we forget that children learn best by doing. We need to learn to provide more opportunities and tools for discovery and learning and fewer moments of listening and watching.
I agree..when providing hands on activities the children get so involved..all the talk we need to do is a short introduction then let the children explore from there. Concepts can be learned in so many fun active ways that lecturing should be the least used strategy. Have fun and play!
